KUNA Media Training Center concludes Podcast, Voice over Skills Program

KUWAIT, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- The KUNA Media Skills Development Center on Thursday concluded its training program on podcasting, dubbing, and voice-over techniques, with the participation of staff from Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Public Authority for Youth, and the State Audit Bureau.
The program held since last Sunday and delivered by media specialist Dr. Bassam Al-Jazzaf, included practical training on producing professional podcast from idea selection and identifying target audiences to scriptwriting, recording, editing, and publishing. Participants also received coaching on professional voice delivery, including tone control, breathing, pacing, vocal coloring, and effective audio expression.
The Training further covered various forms of voice over performance, dubbing, and voice acting, including character analysis, synchronizing audio with movement, scene recording, and performance direction. The program also introduced participants to recording tools, sound equipment, and editing techniques to achieve professional-grade audio quality and build a cohesive vocal identity.
Dr. Al-Jazzaf told KUNA that such programs have become essential in modern media work, noting that voice has become a strategic tool for institutions to communicate their messages and strengthen their presence and influence.
He added that strong vocal delivery, expression skills, and audio content creation are now key requirements for professionals in media and corporate communication, adding "the voice can build direct connection with audiences and deliver messages more clearly and effectively than any other medium." He explained that the program's practical component allowed participants to apply skills immediately, helping them enhance their vocal performance and produce publishable real world content.
