ABU DHABI, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- Vice-President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, affirmed on Saturday the depth of Emirati-Kuwaiti ties.
This came in his account on X, where he stated that bonds with Kuwait are unbreakable, and grow stronger with time.
He said that UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan has directed celebrations be held across the country in January of 2026 in recognition of the close and longstanding ties between the UAE and the State of Kuwait.
He called on national institutions to mark the occasion and to honor the decades-long relationship by celebrating Kuwait, its leadership, and its people, noting that it reflects the deep-rooted historical bilateral ties.
For his part, UAE Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that Kuwait's love is deeply rooted in the hearts of Emiratis, and its noble stances remain unforgettable.
Meanwhile, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum said Dubai's government will join the celebrations, adding that the bond between the two nations would remain strong and enduring.
UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan callad on the public and institutions to celebrate "decades of Emirati-Kuwaiti brotherhood" for one week starting January 29.
WAM said the one-week commemoration, which will start January 29, reflects the UAE leadership's commitment to strengthening historical fraternal relations with Kuwait. (end)
