UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed
ABU DHABI, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed urged the UAE society and its institutions to celebrate decades of UAE-Kuwaiti brotherhood as of January 29 for a week.
"Our relations with Kuwait are a bond of brotherhood, love, and kinship," the UAE president was quoted by Emirate News Agency (WAM) as saying on Friday, commending Kuwait's support before and after the UAE union.
"Kuwait has been a longstanding supporter and partner of the UAE since before the Union. For one week this coming 29 January onwards, we encourage our community to honour this enduring bond and celebrate Kuwait, its leadership, and its people. May God safeguard Kuwait and bless its continued journey of progress," he said. (end)
