Trump: US will work with Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt to stabilize Sudan

WASHINGTON, Nov 19 (KUNA) -- US President Donald Trump affirmed on Wednesday that the United States will work with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and other partners in the Middle East to end atrocities and simultaneously achieve stability in Sudan.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that Sudan has become the most violent place on earth, as the war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has continued for over two years.
Trump added, "Very great atrocities are currently taking place, and it has become the world's largest humanitarian crisis. Food, doctors, and everything else are desperately needed." "Arab leaders from around the world, and in particular His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, who just left the United States, have asked me to use the power and influence of the presidency to stop what is happening in Sudan immediately," he unveiled.
He noted that Sudan is viewed as having a great civilization and culture, but unfortunately, it has deviated from its path.
Nevertheless, it is capable of reform through cooperation and coordination among nations, including those in the region with vast resources who desire this. (end) asj.ara
