Kuwait Interior Ministry crushes vehicles over serious traffic violations

KUWAIT, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Interior announced on Monday that several vehicles were crushed as part of strict measures taken against their drivers for committing serious traffic violations.
The ministry said in a press statement that concerned authorities sent the vehicles to a metal recycling facility after the General Directorate of Traffic completed all necessary legal procedures. It added that the action reflects a firm approach adopted by the ministry toward traffic behaviors that threaten public safety or disrupt road security, within a comprehensive plan aimed at protecting lives and reducing dangerous conduct.
