GCC condemns Israeli occupation's incursion into Al-Aqsa, attack on Mosque

RIYADH, Nov 16 (KUNA) -- The Secretary General of the GCC, Jassem Al-Budaiwi, expressed, on Sunday, his strong condemnation and profound denunciation of the Israeli occupation authorities and extremist groups attacks against the Palestinian people.
In a press statement, Al-Budaiwi condemned Israeli occupation forces' incursions into Al Aqsa's Courtyard and attack on Hajja Hamida Mosque in Kifl Haris Village.
"The attack represent serious escalation and unacceptable transgression, of which the international community must bear responsibility to stop violations", the statement quoted Al-Budaiwi saying. He underlined that these attacks represent a serious escalation and an unacceptable transgression.
He also stressed the necessity for the international community to bear its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to stop these repeated violations and to provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people and their religious sanctities. (end) ash.nhq
