The ministry's Acting Undersecretary and the committee's head Awatef Al-Sanad chairs the meeting
KUWAIT, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Permanent National Committee for Combating Trafficking in Persons and Migrant Smuggling urged Monday stepping up national training programs and qualifying national staff working in anti-trafficking, thus boosting national capabilities.
This came in a press release issued by the Ministry of Justice following the committee's 23rd meeting, chaired by the ministry's Acting Undersecretary and the committee's head Awatef Al-Sanad.
During the meeting, the committee members looked into the efforts of fighting trafficking in persons and migrant smuggling, and the committee's vision of raising public awareness about the serious crime of trafficking in persons. (end)
