Iran hails growing diplomatic ties with Saudi Arabia

TEHRAN, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani said Monday that his country's diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia have witnessed positive and growing progress over the past two years.
In his weekly press briefing, Kanaani affirmed that both sides are determined to continue this constructive path across various fields.
He referred to the recent visit of Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi to Riyadh, noting that it's included talks on key bilateral, regional, and international issues.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khuraiji received Gharibabadi in Riyadh on November 6, where they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed topics of mutual interest. (end) mw.sar
