KUWAIT, Nov 9 (KUNA) -- The FIP World Cup Pairs 2025 concluded on Sunday in Kuwait with Spanish player Alejandro Galan and Argentine Federico Chingotto crowned champions in the men's competition, and Spanish duo Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez winning the women's title.
The men's final saw the second-seeded pair, Galan and Chingotto, defeat the top seeds Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia by 2-1 in an intense match attended by a large crowd of enthusiastic fans.
Despite losing the first set 2-6, Galan and Chingotto mounted an impressive comeback to win the other two sets 7-5 and the third 6-2.
In the women's final, Spain's Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez claimed victory with a 2-0 win over Delfina Brea of Argentina and Gemma Triay of Spain, taking both sets 6-3, 6-3.
The tournament was, held at the Arena 360 Mall courts and the Rafa Nadal Academy, under the supervision of the International Padel Federation (FIP) and organized by BNK Holding Group. It kicked off on November 3 and featured more than 250 of the world's top players, delivering strong competition and drawing large crowds throughout the event. (end)
