China extends visa exemption for Kuwait until late '26

KUWAIT, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- The Chinese government has decided to extend its unilateral visa exemption policy for a number of countries, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, France and other countries, until December 31, 2026, announced the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Kuwait Monday.
The decision came in the context of China's commitment to promoting people-to-people exchanges and facilitating trade, the embassy said in a press release.
It added that those countries' holders of ordinary passports can enter China without a visas for business, tourism, visiting family relatives and friends or exchange activities, and can transit for a period of up to 30 days. (end) aa.mt
