KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- Malaysia and Indonesia on Monday began the 10-day "Kekar Malindo" drills at Pakit Camp in Sarawak, East Malaysia.
The exercise involves Malaysia's 13th Battalion of the 3rd Brigade and Indonesia's Infantry Battalion 641 (19th "Khatulistiwa" Brigade).
It includes classroom sessions, joint training, and field exercises to build skills and share experience.
Held annually since the 1970s, the drill alternates between both countries to strengthen border security, and coordination in training and humanitarian missions. (end) aab.lr
