Israeli occupation airstrike kills one person in S. Lebanon

BEIRUT, Oct 31 (KUNA) -- One person was killed in a renewed air raid by Israeli occupation aircraft on south Lebanon on Friday, according to the country's Ministry of Public Health.
In a press release, the ministry's emergency center said the airstrike launched by Israeli occupying forces on Kounin in Bint Jbeil District in south Lebanon also left another person injured.
Israeli occupying forces have recently stepped up attacks on towns, vehicles and motorcycles in south Lebanon despite the ceasefire deal that came into effect in November 2024. (end) ayb.mt
