KUWAIT, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) organized Monday, "Your Awareness Protects You" event in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, aiming to highlight the importance of early detection, prevention, and promoting knowledge about risk factors and healthy practices.
Director of Marketing and Public Relations Department at the agency, Esam Al-Ruwayeh, said that KUNA annually holds awareness activities highlighting breast cancer symptoms, risk factors, and early detection, aiming to boost recovery rates, reduce complications, and promote psychological support, healthy lifestyles, and balanced nutrition among employees.
A member of the "First Step" Volunteer Team, Mona Al-Laho, stressed that awareness is the most powerful weapon against the disease, affirming the team's commitment to raising public awareness through educational campaigns, hospital visits, and activities that spread health knowledge and support patients.
