WASHINGTON, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- US President Donald Trump on Thursday warned the Israeli occupation that they would lose "all support" from the United States of America if they proceed with annexing the West Bank.
Trump, speaking to the Times, said annexing the West Bank would not happen, adding that he had promised the Arab states in this regard, warning Tel Aviv that all backing from the US would cease if it proceeds with merging the West Bank.
He affirmed his keenness on maintaining the Gaza cease-fire, reiterating that Israel should have stopped the Gaza war because its "popularity was dwindling."
Trump recalled that he had told the prime minister of the Israeli occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, that he could not fight the whole world.
He confirmed his plan to visit Gaza and indicated that a "board peace" would be formed to run the strip in the post-war period. (end)
