LONDON, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- The 22nd session of the UK-Kuwaiti Steering Committee ended here on Thursday. It was co-chaired by Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Hamish Falconer, the UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
The State of Kuwait Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the British and Kuwaiti sides affirmed during the session their commitment to pursue boosting further the close action, bilateral ties and exploring new spheres for cooperation and elevating the historic partnership to much higher levels.
The two sides in the end of the session signed a task plan for the joint steering group, a MoU in the medical sphere and another one for demographic surveillance. (pickup previous)
