Kuwait Oil Ministry concludes youth forum

KUWAIT, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Oil wrapped up on Thursday the eighth Youth Energy Forum and the Annual Meeting of the International Petroleum Council, adopting the initiative, "Kuwait International Vision for the Youth." The initiative aims at shedding light on role of competent juniors as effective contributors to formulating the energy future at the national and international levels.
Undersecretary of Oil Sheikh Dr. Nimr Fahad Al-Malek Al-Sabah said in a statement, released by the ministry, the initiative is based on investing in talented youngsters, sharpening skills of leaders and technical personnel.
It is also designed to create a dialogue platform and an international network from youth committees to swap expertise and boost professional and intelligent cooperation, Sheikh Nimr said, revealing that the Kuwaiti youth committee would be formed to be part of the National Committee of the International Energy Council.
