MANAMA, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- Chairman of the Kuwait National Olympic Committee, Sheikh Fahad Nasser Al-Sabah on Thursday affirmed his country's keenness to participate in regional and international competitions.
Speaking to KUNA on the sidelines of participation in the third Asian Youth Games 2025 in Bahrain, Sheikh Fahad reiterated Kuwait's support for Asian sporting events in line with the Kuwaiti leadership's directives.
He also praised the strong participation of the Kuwaiti delegation in the tournament, and commended Bahrain for its high-level preparation for the games.
The third Asian Youth Games began in Bahrain late Wednesday under the patronage of the Bahraini leadership, and the participation of thousands of athletes and their accompanying delegations. (end) kne.gta
