Kuwait handball team defeats Kazakhstan

MANAMA, Oct 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait youth handball team started its participation on Sunday in the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain with a well-deserved victory over Kazakhstan, winning 42-26. The result demonstrated the team's early readiness to strongly compete for qualification to the main round.
The Kuwaiti players delivered an impressive performance, reflecting their solid preparation and high team spirit as they aim to confidently continue their journey toward the advanced stages of the tournament.
Bahrain is hosting the tournament from October 22 to 31, with Kuwait participating with a delegation of 75 male and female athletes competing in 14 different sports. (end) kna.ahs
