Hamas, Israeli occupation to discuss execution of Trump's plan in Cairo on Mon.

CAIRO, Oct 4 (KUNA) -- Egypt announced on Saturday that it will host indirect talks between Hamas and the Israeli occupation next Monday over implementation of the US President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
In a press statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that the delegations would discuss conditions required for the exchange of prisoners as per the US President's ceasefire plan, in the hope of ending the war and stopping the suffering of the Palestinian people, which has continued for two consecutive years.
These talks come within the framework of efforts to build on the regional and international momentum achieved following announcement of the US president's plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip. (end) aff.ibi
