ISTANBUL, Sept 28 (KUNA)-- A 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck western Turkiye on Sunday, shaking Simav, and nearby cities, including Istanbul, Izmir and Bursa, Turkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) said.
No immediate causalities or damage have been reported yet, while there have been reports of minor injuries among citizens who rushed into the streets. Turkyie, is one of world's most active earthquake zones, experts warn it could be devastating if it occurs in the future. (end) tm.sar
