Amiri Diwan Min., Head of Crown Prince Diwan receive churches delegation

KUWAIT, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Head of the Crown Prince's Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace, Monday, Pastor and Chairman of the National Evangelical Church (NEC) in Kuwait, Pastor Emmanuel Benjamin Gharib, along with representatives of Christian churches in the country.
The delegation included representatives of the Catholic Church, the Coptic Orthodox Church, the Greek Orthodox Church, the Greek Catholic Church, the Armenian Orthodox Church, and St. Paul's Church, who extended their congratulations on the officials' recent appointments.
During the meeting, both sides affirmed Kuwait's longstanding commitment to religious tolerance, freedom of faith, and peaceful coexistence, and emphasized that all residents in Kuwait enjoy the right to practice their religious practices in an environment of security, mutual respect, and harmony, which reflects Kuwait's commitment to the values of tolerance, peace and mutual understanding.
