DOHA, Sept 15 (KUNA) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized on Monday that the Islamic world must intensify its diplomatic efforts to increase sanctions on the Israeli occupation.
This came in during his speech at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha to discuss the Israeli occupation aggression against Qatar.
Erdogan said that the latest Israeli occupation attack on the Hamas delegation in Qatar "has taken Israel's lawlessness to a different dimension," and stressed that "the world should see this meeting as a manifestation of the Islamic world's unconditional support for Qatar."
He emphasized that the Israeli occupation aims to continue the massacres and extermination in Palestine and to push the region towards more chaos.
He affirmed that the Islamic world possess the strength to thwart the Israeli occupation's expansionist ambition, and expressed that increased sanctions must be applied. (end)
