Speaking to KUNA following Al-Salem's visit, Al-Othman said PADA presented its key services provided to persons with disabilities and their caregivers throughout all life stages, from birth to old age.
She highlighted the formation of the "Friends of the Disabled" team, which holds judicial authority to monitor the needs of persons with disabilities and women, including legal protection and support for victims of violence.
Al-Othman stressed the Authority's focus on integrating persons with disabilities into society by creating inclusive environments and suitable job opportunities to empower them as active members of the community.
Meanwhile, Director of Disability Care Centers, Dalal Al-Marri, said Al-Salem's visit to the South Sabahiyah Rehabilitation Center was an opportunity to showcase the wide range of services offered, including psychological, medical, social, and residential care for all age groups and types of disabilities.
