The statement underlined the necessity for the international community to put an end to these crimes and blatant violations that aggravate catastrophic humanitarian situations in the Strip.
It called on the international community to decisively intervene to stop Israeli occupation repeated measures that restrict the entry of the already and sufficient humanitarian aid which can end this famine.
The statement also held the international community responsible for these worsening matters caused by adopting double-standard policies which do not show the universality of human rights which have been politicized over the past years.
Egypt commended UN Secretary General Antonio Guterre's remarks affirming that Gaza's famine was a "man-made disaster, a moral indictment, and a failure of humanity itself." In addition, Cairo affirmed the need for Israeli occupation, in line with international law, to ensure providing medical and food supplies to population, according to the statement. (end) aff.hm
