Sabah Al-Ahmad Center launches 2025 Silicon Valley acceleration program
KUWAIT, Aug 12 (KUNA) -- Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity announced Tuesday the launch of its acceleration program for the second consecutive year, in cooperation with Plug and Play in California's Silicon Valley, one of the world's leading innovation hubs, aiming to promote Kuwaiti innovation globally and integrate young talents into the international innovation ecosystem.
In a statement, the Center said the 10-day program, set to start next November, will offer participants a unique practical experience that includes direct engagement with entrepreneurs, investors, and global experts, as well as learning best practices in accelerating startups, building business models, and preparing for investment, culminating in a "Demo Day" presentation before an audience of decision-makers and investors.
The statement added that the program is open to Kuwaiti citizens aged 21 to 35, with priority given to projects in the fields of education, health, food and water security, energy, environment, and digital transformation. Applicants must be proficient in English, as the program is conducted entirely in the language.
The center noted that that applications were open since August 3, 2025, and due to close on August 31, 2025.
A briefing session for selected participants will be held on September 7, followed by two selection days on September 9 and 10.
The program will run from November 8 to 21, 2025, in Silicon Valley, California, with the final report on the experience to be submitted no later than December 4, 2025.
Participants will receive refining business models, validating product-market fit, enhancing pitching skills, and developing market entry and investment attraction strategies.
The program also includes one-on-one mentoring, field visits, and workshops within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem.
The Center affirmed that this partnership is a significant step toward turning Kuwaiti creativity into tangible global impact, in line with its ongoing efforts to support national talents and open new horizons to global markets. It invited those interested to visit the Center's official website or Instagram account @sacgc_kw. (end) oys.onm
