Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila discusses preparations for 11th GCC meeting
KUWAIT, Aug 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila discussed Sunday preparations for Kuwaitآ’s hosting of the 11th meeting of GCC Ministers of Social and Development Affairs due on September 1-14.
The minister said in a press statement that hosting this meeting represents an opportunity to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise among GCC member states on social and developmental matters, affirming Kuwaitآ’s keenness to provide all necessary resources to ensure the eventآ’s success and achieve its goals.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, representatives from the Public Authority for Manpower and the Civil Service Commission, and included a review of the work plan and timeline for logistical, technical and organizational preparations to ensure the event is presented in a manner that reflects Kuwaitآ’s status and role in supporting joint GCC action in social and developmental fields.
