RAMALLAH, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation forces arrested 30 Palestinians in the West Bank since Tuesday evening, including two women and a journalist.
In a joint statement, the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Club said that the arrest campaign concentrated on Dura City in the Al-Khalil Governorate, targeting former prisoners and a journalist, while the other arrests were spread across other West Bank governorates.
The statement stressed that Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out widespread raids and attacks against detainees and their families, as well as direct shooting with the intent to kill, using detainees as hostages, field interrogations and widespread vandalism and destruction of citizens' homes.
