Covering 11,600 m2, the museum, which is, in fact, is one of Cairo's hidden gems, was designed in the shape of a boat on the bank of the Nile. It consists of three entrances and berths designated for receiving royal yachts and large ships.
The facility, which turned into a museum in 1979, embraces a ground floor that includes rooms and service units and the first floor that consists of a reception room, a large fireplace, a dining room and a bedroom. (end) ism.mt
