Kuwait Deputy Army Chief meets chief of US Central Command

KUWAIT, July 24 (KUNA) -- Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Air Vice Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met, at his office on Thursday, the Commander of the United States Central Command Michael Kurilla, and his accompanying delegation.
A statement by the Kuwait Armed Forces said the meeting addressed latest regional and international developments, as well as ways to enhance joint military cooperation to ensure regional stability and security.
The two sides praised deep and longstanding Kuwaiti-US relations, which have been marked by decades of cooperation and continuous coordination.
Rear Admiral of the Kuwaiti Naval Force, Saif Al-Hamlan, and several senior brass attended the meeting. (end) ajr.ao
