Kuwaiti researchers enrich 15th Gulf Research Meeting in Cambridge

By Nusaiba bin Shaiba LONDON, July 23 (KUNA) -- A number of Kuwaiti researchers took part in the 15th Gulf Research Center Meeting on Wednesday, hosted by Cambridge University from July 22-24.
Along the participation of researchers of more than 180 countries, Kuwait is partaking in the event, which discusses a number of political, economic, energy, security, scientific and social topics in the Gulf area.
Speaking to KUNA, Dr. Fai bin Salama, a cybersecurity researcher, said she was in charge of the 12th workshop of the forum, adding that she offered a study aimed at drawing up a unified framework to show how GCC member states are ready to boost regional coordination to confront growing cyber threats.
Talal Mulla Ali, a PhD researcher at Brunel University of London, said he submitted recommendations of his study on the impact of AI on humans' reaction to machine on social media.
Awrad Mulla Ali, a PhD researcher at Birmingham University, told KUNA that she offered a presentation on her study on the AI.
Being held annually, the meeting is organizing 12 workshops on varied themes for constructive dialogue and academic collaboration on Gulf-related issues. (end) nbs.mjb.hm
