BRUSSELS, July 1 (KUNA) -- The European Union said on Tuesday that it is ready to facilitate the resumption of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program "as soon as possible."
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas stated in a post on (X), following a conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, that "cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency must resume," noting that "any threats to pull out of the Non-Proliferation Treaty don't help to lower tensions.
Kallas added, "the EU is ready to facilitate this". (end)
