Kuwait Amir's Representative meets with Filipino Pres. on ASEAN sidelines

KUALA LAMPUR, May 27 (KUNA) -- Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met on Tuesday with President of Philippines Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on the sidelines of GCC-ASEAN and GCC-ASEAN-China Summits.
His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait to the Filipino President.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the bilateral relation between the two countries, as well as ways to boost ties, in addition to latest regionals and international developments.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary at the Crown Prince Diwan Mazen Al-Issa, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Foreign Minister's Office Ambassador Bader Al-Tunaib and Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Ambassador Sameeh Johar Hayat.
