LONDON, May 26 (KUNA) -- British police announced Monday that 27 people were injured when a driver rammed his car into a parade of Liverpool FC's fans celebrating their team's winning of the Premier League title outside the club stadium in northern England.
In a press statement, the police confirmed that two of the injured, a child and a man, suffered serious injuries, while 20 others suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The police said the driver of the car, 53 British man, was arrested, and the incident is not being treated as terrorism. (end)
