Kuwait amb. to Bosnia discusses boosting ties with Bosnian FM

KUWAIT, May 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Salah Al-Bannai met on Monday with Bosnian Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the economic sector, amid growing investment opportunities and Bosnia's openness to European markets.
Accoring to a statment by Kuwait's Embassy, the talks focused on activating bilateral agreements, establishing follow-up mechanisms, and encouraging mutual visits by officials and specialized delegations.
Both sides also agreed on the importance of coordinating positions and maintaining consultations on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
For his part, Konakovic welcomed Kuwaiti visitors to Bosnia, affirming efforts to ensure their comfort and address any challenges they may face. (end) naa.ahm
