KUWAIT, May 5 (KUNA) -- Bahrain international handball team defeated on Monday Iraq national team with a score of (28-26) in the kick-off of the 10th Arab Men's Handball Cup held in Kuwait until May 11.
In the first half, the match witnessed balanced play between the two sides, with a slight advantage for the Bahraini team which led the score (15-13).
In the second, the Iraqi team was able to make a comeback, but the Bahraini team managed to snatch the game in the last minutes of the match.
Other fixtures of the tournament will continue with Qatar facing Saudi Arabia and Kuwait facing Morocco in Seikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Hall. (end)
