BERLIN, March 21 (KUNA) -- The German government announced on Friday that a new package of military aid worth three billion euros (USD 3.25 billion) would be extended to Ukraine.
In a press release, the German government said that the parliament's budget committee had cleared the way for the fresh military aid for Ukraine.
The move has been delayed for months due to outgoing German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's reservations about the State's budget.
This comes at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump has been trying to find a solution for the Russia-Ukraine war, but European countries are concerned that this solution could negatively affect Ukraine. (end)
