MANAMA, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- Bahrain strongly condemned on Sunday the irresponsible Israeli occupation's statements regarding establishing a Palestinian State on Saudi Arabia's lands, considering it a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter.
A statement by Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the Kingdom's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and support for its security, stability and sovereignty, Bahrain News Agency reported.
The statement further stressed that a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East depends on safeguarding the rights of Palestinians, preventing their displacement, and establishing an independent Palestinian State with full sovereignty, enabling peaceful coexistence in accordance with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
