Indian stealth frigate Talwar visits French port La Reunion

NEW DELHI, Oct 28 (KUNA) -- Indian Defense Ministry said on Monday that Indian Navy's frontline stealth frigate, INS Talwar, is on a visit to French port of La Reunion to deepen maritime security.
A ministry statement said that Talwar arrived at the French port as part of ongoing deployment in Indian Ocean Region. "The visit to La Reunion aims to strengthen India-France partnership to tackle regional maritime security challenges," the statement noted.
During the port visit, the Indian war ship will undertake cross-deck visits and interactions with the French Navy. India and France have enjoyed friendly relations and share a deep, enduring strategic partnership. (end) atk.hb
