GCC begins registration for digital award competition

RIYADH, Aug 24 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretariate General declared on Thursday start of registration for competition of the GCC digital government award.
It said in a statement that registration would end on October 4 and that results would be declared during the digital government meeting on December 19-20.
The competition is aimed at boosting excellence culture, positive competition among GCC countries, bringing into light successful experiences in the realm, the digital applications and elevating the GCC states international ranking.
The award will be granted for the top integrated digital initiative, optimum employment of artifical intelliegnce, top initiative for open data, top government digital service, best social digital participation and number-one digital initiative for women empowerment. (end) kns.rk
