Saudi firefighters subdue limited fire at Riyadh refinery

JEDDAH, March 10 (KUNA) -- The Saudi Ministry of Energy said Thursday an act of sabotage targeted Riyadh refinery, causing a limited fire.
The attack, with a hostile drone, took place at around 04:40 a.m. Thursday and the fire was brought under control, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted spokesman of the ministry as saying.
The attack resulted in neither casualties nor disruption of the operation of the oil facility.
Strongly condemning the attack as "a cowardly act of terrorism and sabotage," the spokesman said such acts target not the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but also the security of energy supplies to the entire world.
The spokesman renewed the Kingdom's call for all nations and organizations of the world to stand together against such acts of sabotage and terrorism. (end) nsa.gb
