MOSCOW, Aug 19 (KUNA) -- A Russian airman died when his Mig-29 fighter jet crashed in southern Russia last night, Tass news agency reported Thursday.
It quoted sources at the Russian southern military sector as saying the airplane crashed in southern Russia and the pilot was killed.
They said the plane was on a training mission and did not carry any ammunition.
An investigation was underway to know cause of the crash. (end)
