Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah meets UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Executive Secretary Dr. Rola Dashti
ABU DHABI, March 1 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah discussed Friday with UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Executive Secretary Dr. Rola Dashti the strong relations between the two sides, and ways to boost joint work.
The meeting took place on the sideline of the 46th meeting of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) foreign ministers in Abu Dhabi.
For her part, Dashti presented a comprehensive report on ESCWA activities and efforts on the regional and international levels.
She also thanked the State of Kuwait for their support to the commission, including supporting ESCWA various projects.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for Ministers' Office Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah. (end)
