Prince William visits Al-Aqsa Mosque
RAMALLAH, June 28 (KUNA) -- The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William visited Thursday the site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem where he expressed great admiration to one of Islam's most sacred sites.
During the visit to Ramallah and his meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Prince William said that the United Kingdom stands with "lasting peace for the region"
Prince William also visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, a site highly revered by Christians.
The Duke of Cambridge will soon end his four-day visit to the region where he met with Palestinian President Abbas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and others.
Prince William have toured Ramallah and visited a refugee camp during his stay. (end)
