Man who shot himself in front of White House dead

WASHINGTON, March 3 (KUNA) -- The man who shot himself in front of the White House Saturday has died, Secret Service confirmed.
The Secret Service said in a statement that the "white male suffered a self-inflicted gun-shot wound to the head outside the North White House fence line." It added that the "subject is deceased." It indicated that "the subject approached the vicinity of the North White House fence line and removed a concealed handgun and fired several rounds, none of which appear at this time to have been directed towards the White House.
"The Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department will be the lead investigative organization for this shooting, supported by the US Secret Service Washington Field Office and other law enforcement organizations," it noted.
It affirmed that "no other persons were injured as a result of this incident." (Pickup previous) si.bs
