KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced in a press statement on Monday its March prices for propane and butane gas.
The price of the metric ton of propane is set at USD 500, up USD 50 per metric ton compared with that of February. The price of metric ton of butane is set at USD 460, down USD 20 per metric ton, it stated.
Propane and butane prices are affected by the price of crude oil, and the value of the US dollar, along with geopolitical factors and natural disasters.
The two gases are used in the petrochemical industry, cooking, heating and other areas. (end)
