 (with photo) KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Malaysia Saad Al-Asousi has received detailed information from Al-Madinah International University in Malaysia, in preparation to send Kuwaiti students on scholarships.
The ambassador told kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Wednesday after receiving Chairman of the university Mohammad Bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi and Director General of Al-Madinah International Foundation for charity Baharaldin Bin Abdulrahman at Kuwait Embassy, that officials had invited him to visit the university to learn of its different departments and offers. Al-Asousi noted that he will present the information he received to accreditation officials in Kuwait in order to execute their scholarship procedures.
Al-Madinah university is supported by the Malaysian government, some GCC countries, and the Islamic world and is among the list of accredited universities in member countries of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). Moreover, the university is a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU) under the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Kuwait is one of the top countries in supporting the university since it was established in 2007, through the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Society of the Revival of Islamic Heritage, Zakat House and others.(end) aab.kna.ag KUNA 191107 Feb 14NNNN
