Massive fire consuming used tires in Jahra since dawn

(with photos) KUWAIT, April 17 (KUNA) -- The General Fire Directorate Tuesday said a huge fire started at dawn and is still raging, fueled by some 5 million used tires in Rhayyah area in northern Kuwait.
A statement said there are no injuries due to the fire, and added teams had rushed to the scene from stations in Al-Jahra, the industrial area, Sabbiyya, Sabhan, Ardhiya, as well as support teams from the National Guard, the Army, and Kuwait Oil Company.
