Egypt''s Azhar Mosque calls Obama speech constructive, encourages dialogue

CAIRO, June 4 (KUNA) -- Egyptian Al-Azhar Mosque and University stressed the importance on Thursday that the speech by U.S. President Barack Obama to the Islamic world today lays the foundation for new relations and encourages dialogue between Islam and the west.
The message of respect to the Islamic world which Obama emphasized in his speech would contribute in correcting misunderstandings and will encourage dialogue between both sides, Al-Azhar President Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayib said in a press release.
