JIAT: coalition attacks only legitimate military targets in Yemen

RIYADH, March 5 (KUNA) -- The Coalition Joint Incidents Assessment Team (JIAT) Regarding Yemen Investigations has re-affirmed that the Saudi-Led pro-legitimacy in Yemen coalition only focus on legitimate military targets.
In a news conference in Riyadh Monday, JIAT's Spokesman Mansour Al-Mansour dismissed allegations that the forces had bombed neither Mahdha village at the outskirts of the northern Yemeni Saadah Governorate nor Hamali Bridge in the southern Ta'iz Governorate.
The coalition airstrikes targeted real military threats that were located far from these areas, he clarified.
He pointed out that the coalition air forces had not carried out any strikes on Mahdha village at the reported time.
The nearest target bombed by the coalition forces was 49 km away from the village and six km from the Saudi borders, he said.
The same applies to the false claim of bombing a vehicle near Hamali Bridge, as the nearest target attacked by the coalition planes were two km away, he underlined. (end) od.ibi
