Egypt, Saudi Arabia sign coop. agreements

CAIRO, March 4 (KUNA) -- In the presence of Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi and visiting Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, representatives of both countries signed four agreements on cooperation in the areas of environment and joint investment.
Egyptian Minister of Environment Dr. Khaled Fahmy and his Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli inked an agreement to protect environment and curb pollution.
Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Dr. Sahar Nasr and Saudi Minister of State Dr. Essam bin Saeed signed the amended founding agreement of the Egyptian-Saudi investment fund.
The two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding on activation of the joint investment fund.
Dr. Sahar Nasr and Saudi Minister of Commerce and Investment Majed Al-Qasabi signed an executive program to increase cooperation between the Egyptian General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) and the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA).
The documents were signed on the sidelines of the three-day visit to Egypt by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman. (pickup previous) rg.gb
